About MR4NV
Motorcycle Rights For Nevada (MR4NV) is a non-profit dedicated to protecting and advancing the rights of motorcycle riders across the Silver State. We believe every rider deserves safe roads, fair treatment, and a voice in shaping the policies that affect our community. By working with lawmakers, agencies, and advocacy groups, MR4NV pushes for legislation that respects rider freedoms while promoting responsible road use.
Beyond legislation, MR4NV champions the civil rights of riders in all aspects of public life. Whether it’s addressing discriminatory practices, protecting the right to ride, or building awareness of motorcycle culture, we stand united in defense of Nevada’s motorcycling community. Our mission is simple: to create a rider-friendly future where motorcyclists are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
Our mission
To advocate for common-sense legislation that preserves the rights and safety of motorcycle riders in Nevada
Our vision
To bring together the riding community in Nevada for powerful, effective change.
Lane Filtering is Safer
Lane filtering has been shown to reduce rear-end collisions and improve overall traffic flow, making the roads safer for both motorcyclists and drivers. By allowing riders to move between stopped or slow-moving vehicles, lane filtering minimizes the risk of being struck from behind while also easing congestion during heavy traffic.
Stop Uninsured Motorists
At MR4NV, we promote tougher enforcement and increased penalties for drivers operating without insurance, which disproportionately impacts vulnerable road users like riders.
End Bans on Colors
Ending Color Bans in Public Establishments. Prohibit arbitrary dress code rules in bars and restaurants that unfairly target motorcycle clubs or riders based on color or patch display.
Defining Motorcycles
Ensure state law excludes unlicensed or non-road-legal vehicles (e.g., scooters, mopeds) from the “motorcycle” category to protect insurance, licensing, and training standards.
